It’s time to take stock

Like every year, the time has come to take stock of the year that is coming to an end and express the objectives for the future.

2021 has certainly been a year that we won’t forget. A year marked by the pandemic, which made us face new challenges, but which gave us also many satisfactions. One we are notably proud of was being able to ensure the deliveries in spite of the profound crisis of availability of materials and the inconveniences deriving from the pandemic, including the increase in the costs of row materials. All this made us face a company reorganization that allowed us to meet the market’s requests. Now that 2021 is ending, we can claim that we have succeeded in this.

In addition to being the year of challenges, 2021 was also the year of further strengthening in the sectors we have known for a long time - tensile structures and pool covers - as well as of the success in a sector we entered more recently: padel.

Let’s start from pool covers, a sector that in the last 12 months has considerably grown, with over 1,000 covers realized. This was also the year in which the new bench for the manufacture of rigid covers began going full speed. A made in Italy tool, especially conceived for Favaretti Group, which can cover the entire production cycle, from semifinished to end products. Evidence of the importance that Favaretti Group has always given to research and innovation.

Also the numbers of the tensile structures sector speak for themselves: with 35% increase in turnover, we have strengthened our position in the field of both industrial and sports covers, confirming to be able to meet different needs.

Last, but not least, padel: a field we got closer to in the last few years, foreseeing the outbreak of a discipline that is now on everyone’s lips. Making the most of the know-how and the expertise acquired in the field of sports covers, we focused on the design and realization of certified, high-quality padel courts. In 2021 we launched the brand Favaretti Padel, with its own website, and we delivered 120 new courts. We won’t stop here: the objective for 2022 is 400 projects delivered.

More than positive results, which were possible to reach thanks to the trust of our new and “old” customers, which was even more important for us in such a difficult year.
